Scot Hoffman
Managing Editor, RE Magazine

Scot joined the RE Magazine team in June 2010 after 18 months in NRECA's Association Marketing division. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1989 with a Liberal Arts degree focusing on journalism and has worked as a writer and editor for newspapers in Roanoke, Va., and Roswell, N.M. He later joined a Washington, D.C., transcripts newswire, spending 11 years at the company and rising to the level of news director. He left the newswire in late 2005 and worked for three years at National Geographic as a writer and editor for the prestigious publication's online division.

Alison has been a member of the NRECA staff since 2001. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1999 with a degree in English. She began her career as an editorial assistant for a company that produced six bimonthly magazines. Her experience on the production staff there led to her being hired by RE Magazine as production assistant. She earned a promotion to the magazine's production manager in 2006.

Kristin Bennani
Advertising and Circulation Manager, RE Magazine and ECT.coop
Kristin joined RE Magazine in March of 2012 after five years in NRECA's marketing department, where she managed marketing functions for RE Magazine and ECT.coop. In this role, she also led the design and production of the NRECA booth at TechAdvantage each year and supported marketing effort for the TechAdvantage Expo and Associate Membership program. Prior to joining NRECA, Kristin worked at the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative and at a tradeshow marketing company in Denver. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business – Marketing from Colorado State University. kristin.bennani@nreca.coop

Veronica Barahona

Technology Editor, RE Magazine
Angela joined RE Magazine in June 2012 after seven years of working in communications and government relations with various distribution cooperatives, both in Oregon and in North Carolina. Prior to that, she worked in public relations and as a newspaper reporter in North Carolina. She received a B.A. from N.C. State University in English and a Master's in Liberal Studies from Duke University, where she focused on Russian and East European affairs.

Veronica graduated from Marymount University with a degree in Graphic Design and Marketing in May 2004 and began working in NRECA's Marketing Department in October 2004. While in Marketing, she earned a Master's Degree in publishing from George Washington University. Veronica has been with RE Magazine since June 2010.
